Carbonara-Style Udon with Deep-fried Sesame Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 1 serving udon noodles (about 220g)
  • 2 slices ham (such as roast ham), halved and cut into 7mm strips
  • 1 egg (M size, about 51g)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper, to taste

  • Kewpie Deep-fried Sesame Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon according to the package instructions. Drain thoroughly.
  2. Cut the ham into strips.
  3. Place the udon in a serving bowl. Leave a space in the center and top with ham and grated cheese. Crack the raw egg in the center. Drizzle with deep-fried sesame dressing and sprinkle with black pepper.
  4. Mix well before eating.

  • Use well-drained udon to prevent a watery texture.
