Steak and Apple Power Salad (350g Veggie Meal)

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 1 onion (190g), sliced into 5mm rings
  • 3 romaine lettuce leaves (60g), chopped and rinsed
  • 1/2 tomato (83g), cut into wedges and halved
  • 1/4 yellow bell pepper (40g), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 apple (110g), diced with skin on
  • 1/2 avocado (70g), cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 200g beef steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Crushed cashew nuts, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Salad oil, as needed

  • Kewpie CobbSalad Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the onion into 5mm thick rings.
  2. Chop the romaine and rinse well. Cut the tomato into wedges, then halve. Dice the yellow bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Dice the apple with the skin on. Cut avocado into 2 cm cubes.
  4. Let the beef come to room temperature and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan and cook the beef and onion rings to your preferred doneness.
  5. Arrange the romaine, vegetables, beef, and onions on a plate. Drizzle with Kewpie CobbSalad Dressing and top with crushed cashews.

Tips

  • For the avocado, slice around the pit, twist, remove the pit, and peel before cutting.
