Garlic Fried Rice with Aohata Verde Toast Spread
This aromatic garlic fried rice comes together quickly with Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread. Enhanced with crispy bacon and scallions, it's a delicious and comforting dish that works as a main or a flavorful side.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 400g cooked rice
- 5 stalks green onion, finely sliced
- 2 slices bacon, cut into 1cm strips
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread (approx. 15 arrows on the package)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: slice the green onions and cut the bacon into strips.
- Heat the garlic spread in a frying pan. Add the green onion and bacon, and sauté until fragrant and lightly crisped.
- Add the cooked rice and stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Tip: Use day-old rice for the best texture. This garlic rice also makes a great base for stir-fries or topped with a fried egg.
