This aromatic garlic fried rice comes together quickly with Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread. Enhanced with crispy bacon and scallions, it's a delicious and comforting dish that works as a main or a flavorful side.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 400g cooked rice
  • 5 stalks green onion, finely sliced
  • 2 slices bacon, cut into 1cm strips
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread (approx. 15 arrows on the package)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: slice the green onions and cut the bacon into strips.
  2. Heat the garlic spread in a frying pan. Add the green onion and bacon, and sauté until fragrant and lightly crisped.
  3. Add the cooked rice and stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Tip: Use day-old rice for the best texture. This garlic rice also makes a great base for stir-fries or topped with a fried egg.
