Baby Leaf Salad with Crispy Cheese and Bacon

A salad of baby greens, bacon, and cheese crisps topped with Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing. A crunchy, savory side even kids enjoy.

  1. Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • Cherry tomatoes – 3 small (27g), cut into wedges
  • Baby leaf greens – 1/2 pack (25g)
  • Bacon – 1 slice (20g), cut into 2 cm pieces
  • Sliced cheese (for heating) – 1 slice (18g), halved

  • Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing (Carrot & Onion) – to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the bacon into 2 cm strips and cook in a dry frying pan until crispy.
  2. Place the halved cheese slices on parchment paper in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave at 600W for about 1 minute until crisp. Let cool, then break into pieces.
  3. On a serving plate, lay the baby leaves, then top with the crispy bacon, cheese crisps, and tomato wedges. Drizzle with the dressing and serve.
