Cabbage and Nori Chinese Salad

A simple salad of fresh cabbage, crispy baby sardines, and shredded nori topped with savory Kewpie Chinese Dressing. Great as a quick side dish.

  1. Kewpie Chinese Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 3 cabbage leaves (180g), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Chirimen jako (dried baby sardines), to taste
  • Shredded nori (seaweed), to taste

  • Kewpie Chinese Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the core from the cabbage and cut the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place the cabbage on a serving plate and top with chirimen jako.
  3. Drizzle with Kewpie Chinese Dressing and garnish with shredded nori.

Tips

  • Try lightly pan-frying the chirimen jako for added crispiness.
