Chinese Cabbage and Ham Coleslaw

A quick coleslaw-style salad made with Chinese cabbage, ham, and corn, tossed in Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing. Soft, sweet, and easy to prepare.

  1. Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • Chinese cabbage – 1/8 head (240g), sliced thinly against the grain
  • Carrot – 4 cm piece (40g), julienned
  • Ham – 3 slices (45g), halved and cut into strips
  • Whole kernel corn – 1 pack (50g)
  • Salt – a pinch

  • Kewpie Creamy Vegetable Dressing (Carrot & Onion) – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage in half lengthwise and slice thinly across the grain. Peel and julienne the carrot using a slicer.
  2. Place the cabbage and carrot in a microwave-safe bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Let cool slightly, then squeeze out excess water.
  3. Add the sliced ham and corn to the vegetables. Toss with the dressing and season with a pinch of salt to taste.
