Chopped Cabbage and Sweet Corn Salad

A crisp and colorful chopped salad made with cabbage, sweet corn, ham, and vegetables. Tossed with creamy Kewpie Coleslaw Dressing for an easy side dish.

  1. Kewpie Coleslaw Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1/8 head cabbage (about 100g), diced into 8mm cubes
  • 2 lettuce leaves (about 58g), soaked and diced into 8mm cubes
  • 1/4 carrot (about 45g), peeled and diced into 8mm cubes
  • 1/8 onion (about 24g), finely chopped and soaked in water
  • 4 slices ham (about 60g), diced into 8mm cubes
  • 100g whole kernel corn

  • Kewpie Coleslaw Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Separate cabbage leaves and core. Thinly slice the core and dice both the core and leaves into 8mm cubes.
  2. Soak lettuce in cold water, then drain and cut into 8mm cubes. Dice the carrot and ham into 8mm cubes. Finely chop onion, soak briefly in water, and drain.
  3. Combine all diced ingredients and corn in a bowl or on a serving plate. Drizzle with coleslaw dressing and serve.

Tips

  • Enjoy the refreshing texture of finely chopped vegetables. The sweet corn adds a bright accent.
