Celebrate Girls’ Day with this festive salad rice molded in spring colors. Flavored with Kewpie Separated French Dressing, it's stacked with corn, lettuce, and topped with flower-cut ham and cheese—bright and beautiful on any table.

Ingredients (Serves 2, using a 12cm bowl)

  • 400g cooked rice
  • 2 lettuce leaves (approx. 58g), shredded into 5mm strips
  • 2 slices ham (approx. 30g), cut into flower shapes
  • 2 slices cheese (approx. 36g), cut into flower shapes
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise, for decoration
  • 3 tablespoons Kewpie Separated French Dressing
  • 100g Salad Club Hokkaido Corn (whole kernels)

Instructions

  1. Use a flower-shaped cutter to cut shapes from ham and cheese. Shred lettuce into 5 mm strips.
  2. Mix warm rice with the dressing and two-thirds of the corn.
  3. Line a 12 cm bowl with plastic wrap, press in the rice mixture, invert onto a plate, and remove the mold.
  4. Decorate with mayonnaise lines, flower-shaped ham and cheese on top. Surround with lettuce and the remaining corn.
