
Fluffy Egg & Teriyaki Mayo Sandwich with Kewpie Spread
This warm sandwich features fluffy scrambled-style egg and fresh lettuce layered between slices of toasted bread with Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread. It’s a soft, savory breakfast or light lunch with a Japanese twist.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 2 slices of sandwich bread (8-slice cut preferred)
- 1 medium egg (approx. 51g)
- 25ml milk
- 1/2 tablespoon Kewpie Mayonnaise
- 1 leaf of lettuce (approx. 29g)
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread
Instructions
- Rinse the lettuce in cold water, drain, and tear into bite-sized pieces.
- Toast both slices of bread in a toaster oven until golden.
- In a bowl, beat the egg with milk, Kewpie Mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt. Microwave at 600W for 50 seconds, stir gently, then heat again for another 30 seconds until soft and fluffy.
- Spread Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread on one slice of toast. Layer with lettuce and egg mixture, top with the second slice, and cut in half to serve.
