Garlic Stick Toast with Prosciutto & Arugula – Aohata Verde Appetizer

These elegant garlic stick toasts are made with crispy French bread, savory prosciutto, and fresh arugula, enhanced by Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread. A perfect appetizer or wine pairing snack that looks as good as it tastes.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1/6 loaf of French bread, sliced into 1.5cm thick pieces, then halved lengthwise
  • 6 slices of prosciutto (raw ham)
  • 1/2 bunch of arugula (rucola), rinsed and cut in half
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the French bread and cut each slice in half lengthwise. Spread with Aohata Verde Garlic Toast Spread and toast in a toaster oven until golden and crispy.
  2. Rinse the arugula in cold water, dry thoroughly, and cut into halves.
  3. Top each toasted bread stick with arugula and wrap with a slice of prosciutto. Finish with a light sprinkle of black pepper.
