
Grilled Teriyaki Mayo Onigiri with Kewpie Spread
These grilled onigiri rice balls are brushed with Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread and toasted to golden perfection. A rich, savory Japanese snack that’s simple to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients (Makes 4 onigiri)
- 300g freshly cooked rice
- 1/2 sheet of nori (seaweed), cut into 4 strips
- 2 tablespoons Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread
Instructions
- Divide the warm rice into 4 portions and shape into triangles. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of Kewpie Teriyaki Sauce & Mayo Spread on one side of each onigiri.
- Place onigiri in a toaster oven and grill until the coated side is lightly browned. Wrap each one with a strip of nori and serve warm.
Tip: Use freshly cooked rice for best texture. Adjust toaster oven time based on your preferred level of crispness.
