Marinated Swordfish with Chinese Dressing

This easy marinated swordfish recipe pairs crispy fried fillets and broccoli with Kewpie Chinese Dressing for a flavorful Asian-style dish.

  1. Kewpie Chinese Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 swordfish fillets (approx. 200g), cut into bite-size slices
  • 1/2 head broccoli (63g), cut into florets
  • 6 cm leek (12g), julienned into white shredded scallion
  • Potato starch (katakuriko), as needed
  • Salad oil, as needed for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Kewpie Chinese Dressing, 50ml

Instructions

  1. Season the sliced swordfish with salt and pepper. Lightly coat with potato starch.
  2. Heat oil to around 180°C and deep-fry the fish until golden and crisp.
  3. Steam or microwave the broccoli florets (about 1.5 minutes at 600W), then cool in water and drain well.
  4. Combine the cooked swordfish and broccoli in a bowl. Pour over the dressing and marinate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Top with finely shredded leek (white part only) just before serving.

Tips

  • You can substitute swordfish with cod for a similar result.
