Microwave-Steamed Daikon and Pork
A light and savory dish of steamed daikon and sliced pork, topped with Kewpie Grated Onion Dressing. Quick to make in the microwave.
Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 8cm daikon (about 160g), peeled and cut into 3mm thick strips
- Daikon leaves – chopped, to taste
- 120g thinly sliced pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
Kewpie Grated Onion Dressing – to taste
Instructions
- Peel the daikon and cut into thin 3mm strips.
- Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, layer the daikon, pork, and chopped daikon greens. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 500W for about 5 minutes. Drain any excess liquid.
- Serve on a plate and drizzle with Kewpie Grated Onion Dressing.
