Microwave-Steamed Daikon and Pork

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 8cm daikon (about 160g), peeled and cut into 3mm thick strips
  • Daikon leaves – chopped, to taste
  • 120g thinly sliced pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • Kewpie Grated Onion Dressing – to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the daikon and cut into thin 3mm strips.
  2. Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, layer the daikon, pork, and chopped daikon greens. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 500W for about 5 minutes. Drain any excess liquid.
  4. Serve on a plate and drizzle with Kewpie Grated Onion Dressing.

  • Adjust microwave time based on appliance wattage and ingredient volume.
