Pork Shabu-Shabu Salad with Deep-Fried Sesame Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1/2 tomato (about 83g), diced into 1.5cm cubes
  • 2 lettuce leaves (about 58g), torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 onion (about 47g), thinly sliced and soaked in water
  • 50g rehydrated seaweed mix
  • 100g pork slices (for shabu-shabu)
  • Katsuobushi (bonito flakes), to taste

  • Kewpie Deep-fried Sesame Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the tomato into 1.5cm cubes. Soak thinly sliced onion in water, then drain. Cut the rehydrated seaweed into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Soak the lettuce in cold water, then drain and tear into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Quickly blanch the pork slices in water just before boiling. Drain and let cool.
  4. Arrange the lettuce on a plate, top with the seaweed, tomato, onion, and pork. Sprinkle with katsuobushi and drizzle with deep-fried sesame dressing.
