Refreshing Onion and Carrot Salad

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1/4 onion, thinly sliced and soaked in water (47g)
  • 1/4 carrot, peeled and shaved into ribbons (45g)
  • 2 slices ham, cut into 16 wedges
  • Italian parsley, for garnish

  • Kewpie Carrot Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the onion, soak in water to reduce sharpness, then drain well.
  2. Peel the carrot and shave into ribbons using a peeler.
  3. Cut the ham into 16 pie-shaped segments.
  4. Combine the onion, carrot, and ham in a bowl. Toss with Kewpie Carrot Dressing. Garnish with Italian parsley and let sit briefly if desired before serving.

Preparation Tip

  • This salad also tastes great after marinating for a short time in the dressing.
