Soft-Boiled Egg Paysanne Salad

A flavorful paysanne salad with bacon, potato, vegetables, and an onsen egg, finished with Kewpie Paysanne Salad Dressing.

  1. Kewpie Paysanne Salad Dressing

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 pack Salad Club 10-Ingredient Salad (lettuce, bell pepper mix, 160g)
  • 1/2 potato (about 54g)
  • 4 green beans (about 29g), trimmed and halved
  • 3 small cherry tomatoes (about 27g), halved
  • 1 mushroom (about 9g), thinly sliced
  • 30g bacon, cut into 6mm slices
  • 1 onsen egg (about 51g)
  • 1 tbsp salad oil

  • Kewpie Paysanne Salad Dressing, to taste

Instructions

  1. Wrap the potato damp in a paper towel and loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave (600W) for about 1 minute 30 seconds, peel, and cut into bite-sized pieces. Trim and halve the green beans. Cut bacon into 6mm strips.
  2. Halve the tomatoes and thinly slice the mushroom.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté the potato, green beans, and bacon until golden on both sides.
  4. Arrange the salad mix on a plate, then group the cooked and fresh ingredients neatly on top. Place the soft-boiled egg in the center and drizzle with Kewpie Paysanne Dressing.

Recipe Notes

  • Adjust microwave time depending on the potato size and your equipment. Serve immediately to enjoy the contrast of textures.
