Spicy Sesame Udon Bowl

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 packs udon noodles (440g)
  • 1/2 tomato (83g), diced into 1cm cubes
  • 1/2 cucumber (49g), julienned
  • 5 stalks green onion (10g), finely sliced
  • 1/2 sheet nori (2g), cut into 1cm squares

For Spicy Chicken Miso

Instructions

  1. Cook udon according to package instructions. Rinse under cold water and drain thoroughly.
  2. Dice tomato, julienne cucumber, and chop green onions. Cut nori into small squares with scissors.
  3. Combine all "A" ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered at 600W for 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir, then microwave for another 1 minute 30 seconds. Stir again until evenly cooked.
  4. Place udon in serving bowls. Top with vegetables and spicy chicken miso. Drizzle with Kewpie Deep-fried Sesame with Spicy Chili Oil Dressing.

Tips

  • Use fully cooked, chilled udon for quicker prep.
  • Drain noodles well before assembling to avoid watering down the dressing.
  • Adjust microwave times as needed based on your appliance.
