
Tuna Mayo Onigiri with Kewpie Spread
This classic Japanese onigiri is filled and topped with Kewpie Tuna & Mayo Spread for a simple, savory snack or lunchbox staple. Great for meal prep or when you want a quick and satisfying rice ball.
Ingredients (Makes 4 onigiri)
- 400g cooked white rice
- 2 sheets of nori (seaweed), halved
- Salt, to taste
- 4 tablespoons Kewpie Tuna & Mayo Spread
Instructions
- Divide the rice into 4 equal portions.
- Take one portion of rice and place 2 teaspoons of Kewpie Tuna & Mayo Spread in the center. Lightly salt your hands and shape the rice into a triangle.
- Wrap with half a sheet of nori and top with an additional teaspoon of tuna mayo. Repeat for the remaining onigiri.
Tip: For best texture and flavor, use freshly cooked rice when preparing your onigiri.
