Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 chicken breast (about 180g)
  • 3 cabbage leaves (about 180g), roughly chopped
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (about 80g), julienned
  • 3 broccoli florets (about 45g)
  • 2 tsp sake (or cooking wine)
  • 1/4 tsp salt + a pinch
  • A pinch of sugar

  • Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing, Half Calories (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the cabbage and blanch briefly in boiling water. Drain well.
  2. Separate broccoli into florets and boil with a pinch of salt until tender. Drain well.
  3. Julienne the red bell pepper.
  4. Place the chicken breast in a microwave-safe container. Prick with a fork several times, sprinkle with sake, then rub in the sugar and 1/4 tsp salt. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for about 4 minutes. Let it cool slightly with the wrap on, then slice into 5mm pieces.
  5. Arrange the cabbage, broccoli, and red bell pepper on a serving plate. Top with the sliced chicken, then drizzle with sesame dressing and serve.

Tips

  • Adjust microwave time based on your appliance and the thickness of the chicken breast.
