Coconut Pancakes with Mixed Nuts – Aohata Verde Breakfast Recipe

These light and fluffy pancakes are infused with the tropical aroma of Aohata Verde Coconut Toast Spread and topped with crunchy mixed nuts. Perfect for a sweet Japanese-style breakfast or brunch treat.

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 150g pancake mix
  • 140ml milk (or water as an alternative)
  • Mixed nuts, crushed – as needed
  • Salad oil – for greasing the pan
  • Aohata Verde Coconut Toast Spread, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix and milk. Stir until smooth.
  2. Lightly grease a frying pan and heat it. Pour in 1/6 of the batter and cook until bubbles form. Flip and cook until both sides are golden. Repeat to make 6 pancakes.
  3. Stack the pancakes on a plate. While warm, drizzle with Aohata Verde Coconut Toast Spread.
  4. Top with crushed mixed nuts and serve immediately.

Tip: For extra flavor, lightly toast the nuts before adding. You can also add sliced banana or a dusting of cinnamon.
