Napa Cabbage, Bacon & Cheese Mille-Feuille Steam with Kewpie Italian Dressing
This easy microwave mille-feuille stacks napa cabbage with bacon and cheese for a warm, flavorful dish. Finished with a drizzle of Kewpie Italian Dressing, it's perfect for a cozy side or light meal.
Ingredients (Serves 2, for a 5 cm-deep microwave-safe container)
- ¼ napa cabbage (approx. 470g), washed with core intact
- 4 slices bacon (approx. 80g)
- 100g shredded pizza cheese
- Kewpie Italian Dressing, to taste (served separately)
Instructions
- Wash the napa cabbage thoroughly without removing the core to help keep leaves intact.
- Layer bacon and shredded cheese evenly between cabbage leaves.
- Cut the layered cabbage into 5 cm-wide sections, remove the core from each piece.
- Place the pieces upright in a deep microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600 W for about 6 minutes.
Serve with Italian dressing on the side.
